I was approached on a late Friday afternoon with the opportunity to make a little extra cash on the side. The job consisted of turning a Google doc into something that could be presented to a group of investors and potential news partners. After having a 15 minute chat to discuss what it was, what the goals were, and how it should be perceived by the readers, I asked about the deadline which turned out to be in less than 24 hours.
I thrive under pressure.
I created a simple system to visually distinguish chapter title pages, sections, and multiple styles of body content. In the end, the booklet weighed in at 39 pages and I was able to get it printed, bound, and delivered a few hours early.
