The Center for Investigative Reporting merged with The Bay Citizen in 2012 and I was part of that deal. At the time, CIR was operating under three distinct brands which made it difficult to maintain any sense of consistency or messaging.
A year later and with the guidance of Goodby Silverstein & Partners, CIR decided to combine everything into a single parent brand and GSP designed a brilliant logo that captured the essence of what we did. I was responsible for leading the charge on a new website that would carry the brand forward and showcase our talented reporters work.
Fast forward to 2014 – CIR announces a new, highly anticipated, national radio show called Reveal. I’m currently in the process of revamping the new designs to accommodate a focus on audio content. Stay tuned for updates…
