The Center for Investigative Reporting began producing an original monthly video series called PostScript starting in the spring of 2015. The series features bite-sized stories that peel back the layers on how something works versus how we think they work. Each episode begins with the origins of a manmade solution and unpacks the unintended consequences from that solution.
I designed the logo to fit within CIR’s “redaction” style by using ink and a wax-resist treatment. The idea was to show the hidden wax “postscript” message by applying a large ink drop that would bleed into the paper while revealing the logo.
